THAILAND: King Dies after 70-Year Reign

On 13 October, Thai palace officials announced the death of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The king was the world’s longest reigning monarch. He ruled Thailand for approximately 70 years. Many have raised concerns regarding the future of the monarchy.
