AUSTRALIA: Striking Workers Delay Flights Nationwide

On 21 September, the start of 10 days of nationwide, 2 hour strikes by workers in the immigration and boarder force caused up to 90 minutes of delays for flights, as well as impacting ports and mail facilities. Should these strikes fail to bring the federal government to the negotiating table, stronger measures may be taken by organized labor.
