UNITED STATES: High School Graduation Rates Reach Record High

On 17 October, White House officials announced high school graduation rates reached an all-time high at 83.2 percent during 2014-2015. Officials also announced an increase in graduation rates within all ethnic groups, income groups, and disabilities. Officials reported Asian Americans reached 90.2 percent, Caucasians reached 87.6 percent, Hispanics reached 77.8 percent, African-Americans reached 74.6 percent, and Native Americans reached 71.6 percent.
